On Monday, Bruce Miller, a 5 year NFL veteran, who currently plays with San Francisco 49ers, was arrested for domestic violence, police said.

The 27 year old NFL star was taken into police custody on Thursday night last week at around 11.55 P.M. on a spousal battery charge and is currently out on bail, Kurt Clarke, a spokesman for the Santa Clara Police, said.

This is not the first time that a San Francisco 49ers player is being arrested, during the 2014season multiple players of the 49ers were arrested on a number of reasons. For instance the team’s linebacker, Aldon Smith was arrested on several occasions including arrests for DUI as well as possession of a firearm. The team’s Defensive lineman, Ray Mcdonald was also arrested in August on suspicions of domestic violence.

According to Clarke, she had forwarded requests for further information regarding the incident to the Attorney’s office in Santa Clara County District.

The problems did not stop there, offseason the team has also been rocked by several incidents including the recent one which has seen Bruce Miller being arrested.
