Worried Nadal

We all know who Rafael Nadal is, because he is one of the most powerful tennis players currently, and in general. His game may not be at its best, but he is still a force to be reckoned with. Yesterday he lost to Andy Murray, 6:3, 6:2, in the final of the Madrid Masters.

Andy was so thrilled, because he knows how hard it is to play against someone as good as Nadal is.
“ It is one of the hardest things in tennis, to try and win against Rafa on clay, so I am glad I have managed to do it. “ said Murray to Sky Sports.

On  the other hand Nadal was very disappointed, because he is no longer in the top 5, which didn’t happen for ten years.
His main goal is to stay in the top 8, and he will try to play the best he can in Rome. He wants to play two weeks in a row, because he wants to stay strong and powerful like always.
Nadal said that backhand “ killed “ his game on Sunday. He knows that he was amazing during the week, because he was relaxed and he wasn’t too obsessed with the result. So the backhand was the problem, and maybe the lack of confidence.
